In recent decades, the massive emission of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide and methane, into atmosphere has had a serious impact on ecological environment. The dry reforming methane to syngas cannot only realize resource utilization but also reduce global climate change. It is great significance in reduction. Owing (DRM) being strongly endothermic reaction, it needs be carried out under high-temperature conditions. makes catalyst have problems sintering metal, deposition, poisoning. This article revolves around problem deactivation during DRM reaction. expands upon thermodynamics mechanisms analyzes causes metal due sintering, poisoning, summarizes how active components, supports, additives catalysts restrain analysis revealed that changing type size adjusting properties support, adding can further regulate dispersion component, interaction between component oxygen vacancies acidity basicity surface, ultimately achieving control over catalyst’s resistance sulfur addition, discusses application photothermal plasma-catalyzed DRM.
